占领”运动发展与方向
——美国***主席山姆·韦伯与芝加哥地区党员座谈当前“占领”运动
目前，美国各地的“占领”运动正在如火如荼地迅猛展开，其发展和方向还不明朗。为此，身处纽约的美国 ***主席山姆·韦伯决定到美国各地考察这场运动的现状和将来发展的方向。他首先选择了美国中西部地区，先到了密西根州的底特律市，第二站到达芝加哥。 24日晚在美国***芝加哥总部，韦伯主席与芝加哥地区20多名党员/青年团员同志们座谈“占领”运动以及就业问题和2012年的选举。美共芝加哥地区负 责人约翰同志主持会议，他首先简单介绍了这几周以来，芝加哥地区美共党员和青年团员参加“占领”运动的情况，并介绍运动中有9位美共党员和青年团员同志被捕，其中3位出席了当晚座谈会。全体与会者向这3位英雄鼓掌致意。
美国***主席山姆·韦伯向大家介绍了当前“占领”运动的局面和状况。他鼓励广大党员继续积极参加“占领芝加哥”运动。他说，底特律没有出现抓人的情况，芝加哥的情况比较特殊，先后已经两次出现抓捕超过上百名示威者的情况，这必然对运动造成影响，同时也加深民众与市政府之间的矛盾。
韦伯说，此次运动出现得很突然，参与的人数还在不断增加，参与的社团组织越来越多，出现运动的地域越来越广。但是，目前还看不清楚这场运动会朝向什么样的方向发展。目前，这个问题还不是最重要，重要的是人民起来了，参与是自觉的。
从历史经验看，一个国家从经济萧条的出现到民众起来上街抗议，都是有一定时间上的差距的。例如美国1929 年出现经济危机直到1934年才出现大规模的民众上街示威游行。这是因为，民众对经济危机萧条对自身所带来的影响，是需要有一个体验的过程。当民众的情绪 集聚到一定程度的时候，民众就会将这种集聚起来的力量显示出来。运动的产生就是社会集中了民众意见的选择而产生出来的结果。这次运动并非只是美国自己的运动，这个运动已经在世界各地同时出现了。
目前，运动还处于民众对生活需求的诉讼阶段，还没有进入到对社会变革的政治诉求阶段。各参与运动的组织和民众的诉求内容都很不一样，很不一致。目前的口号 是“反对贪婪、失业和分配不均”“99％反对1％”，总的看来，要求就业的诉求是第一位的。年青人参与程度高，是因为他们没有工作，看不到前途。两千五百 万失业大军是这次运动的坚强后盾。但是，可以看到的是，运动的发展方向很可能会是向着政治诉求和社会变革的方向发展。什么时候会出现这种180度的大转弯，不是示威者本身能够决定的，这是由社会整体各个方面的因素在如何面对运动和如何处理运动等事务上的具体操作而将会带来的结果。
此次运动与以往我们所参加的许多运动在形式上有一个很不一样的地方。以前我们参与的大多数劳工运动，采取的方式都是当天举办游行，晚上就散了，而此次的运 动提出来的方式是“占领”，就是示威者在一个地方住下来不走了。而且，此次运动可以看到的是出现了更多的在精神上的诉求以及对社会制度的不满。在这场追求精神的运动中，每个人都在呼喊自己想呼喊的口号，每个人自己书写自己的标语牌，将自己心中所想要抒发的意见制作成标语牌举起来。各种旗帜、标语、传单、报纸，特别是手机网络体现出这场意识形态斗争方面作用的功效和力量。
共和党人在运动开始的时候对运动非常反感，有很多激烈的谩骂声，现在这种声音在降低。纽约的一些政客好像在计划要开始讨论有关运动传递出来的信息。奥巴马 总统在他争取连任的竞选旅途中，不断地在呼吁民众支持他的那个被国会否决的就业计划，在不断批评共和党在就业问题上的态度。美国各地媒体关注此次运动的力度不太相同，纽约的媒体在报道华尔街新闻的同时都不会缺少报道“占领华尔街”运动的近况。

我们的运动很可能会取得胜利的，因为这是一场人民的斗争，一场人民的革命斗争。我们要争取它取得胜利。

一位党员发言表示，我们要清楚地知道这场运动的重要性在哪里。我们的这场运动并不是戴了什么新帽子，其实我们戴的还是以前的旧帽子，还是为了人民的利益在展开阶级斗争。只不过，统治者阶级并不担心运动对经济内容提出的诉求，他们真正担心的是运动朝向政治变革的方向和社会改造的方向发展。
